EXIF Remover FAQ
- What metadata does this remove?
- It strips EXIF, IPTC, XMP, GPS coordinates, camera model, timestamps, and thumbnails by re-encoding the image pixels only — no metadata survives.
- Are my photos uploaded to strip the metadata?
- No. The image is decoded and re-encoded entirely in your browser; the original file and its metadata never leave your device.
- Does removing EXIF reduce image quality?
- Minimal. We re-encode at high quality. The visible pixels are preserved; only the hidden metadata block is discarded.
